COFI Training: Family Focused Organizing

As part of our mission, COFI’s Institute for Family Focused Organizing offers training sessions for community leaders and staff members who want to learn how to engage parents as a vital voice at the table.

Train the Trainer Program
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
January 20 - 22, 2010
This 3-day session for people who plan to incorporate Family Focused Organizing in their own community groups.  We will teach you how to recruit parents, how to use COFI’s training curriculum for leadership development, and how the process works to build power.  In depth exploration of the first year of COFI's two-year organizing program (Self, Family & Team), and hands-on practice for trainers.   ($450 per person, includes Training Manual and lunch each day)Trainings are held at COFI's new offices, 1436 W.
